The exhibition In Between / In Transit, which Galleri Image produced and presented in 2016, was on tour in the United States under the name In Transit: From Home to Where? The Exhibition is curated by Peggy Sue Amison and was shown at Blue Sky/ Oregon Center for Photographic Arts until 30 December 2018. It opened at SF Camerawork in January 2019 and opened at the SDSU Downtown Gallery from April til 14 July, 2019. In September 2019 it travelled to Cambridge MA at Lesley College.
The tour continued in Europe in Cork, Ireland at the Crawford Art Gallery, running from 6 March – 4 May 2020. The exhibition was then moved to Stadtgalerie in Saarbrücken, Germany. Originally scheduled for an opening June, the exhibition was pushed back due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but opened on 11 September of this year, where it will be shown until January 2021.
Through the work of a collection of photographers and filmmakers In Between / In Transit (In Transit: From Home to Where?) explores the limbo experienced by refugees and migrants.
