The exhibition In Transit / In Between, which Galleri Image produced and presented in 2016, is now on tour in the United States under the name In Transit: From Home to Where. The Exhibition is curated by Peggy Sue Amison and can now be viewed at Blue Sky/ Oregon Center for Photographic Arts until 30 December. It will then open at SF Camerawork in January and SDSU Downtown Gallery in April 2019.
The Museum of Photography in Seoul showed a new Korean / Nordic exhibition, it opened on 9 June and ended 8 August 2018 under the title Nature as a Playground - In Korean and Nordic Contemporary Photography.
The participating artists are: Hyong-Ryol Bak, Hyeung-Geun Park, Won Seong Won, Yi Hyuk Jun, Taewon Jang, Katrín Elvarsdöttir, Ilkka Halso, Maja Ingerslev, Sanna Kannisto, Riitta Päivaläinen and Peter Thomsen.
The exhibition is curated by Pirkko Siitari (Helsinki Art Museum) and Beate Cegielska (Galleri Image) in collaboration with Sunyoung Kim from The Museum of Photography, Seoul.
Magdalena Bors' exhibition The Art of Domestic Compulsion, which was shown at Galleri Image from May 24th until June 30th in 2013, was shown at Laznia Centre of Contemporary Art in Gdansk in Poland from November 8, 2013 - January 15, 2014.
In 2015 the exhibition will be touring Spain, starting at the Centro Andaluz de la Fotografía.
In 2017 we produced the exhibition This Island Earth including five Icelandic artists. Now, the exhibition has been on tour in Finland and China. Read more about the exhibition here.
Galleri Image presented Rendezvous with Nature at Northern Photographic Centre in Oulu, Finland.
The exhibition showed work by six Danish artists: Mette Bersang, Søren Dahlgaard, Maja Ingerslev, Michelle Eistrup, Lilibeth Cuenca Rasmussen og Adam Jeppesen.
In September 2013 Galleri Image presented the exhibition Nordic Memories at the Pingyao International Festival in China.
The exhibition included works by the artists: Sara Ahde (FIN), Nina Strand (N) and Mette Bergsang (DK).
Galleri Image participated in Lianzhou Foto 2013 in China.
The exhibition included eight Danish artists: Lotte Fløe Christensen, Søren Dahlgaard, Adam Jeppesen, Torben Eskerod, Pernille Koldbech Fich, Ditte Haarløv Johnsen, Susanne Wellms and Carina Zunino.
