Soil Studies - New Danish Photography of Nature is a touring exhibition with five Danish artists Ditte Knus Tønnesen, Lotte Fløe Christensen, Veronika Geiger, Inuuteq Storch, Kirstine Autzen.

The exhibition was shown at Goyki 3 Art Inkubator as part of FFWRS (Festiwal Fotografii W Ramach Sopotu) 2 - 18 September 2022 in Sopot, Poland.

The symposium New Tactics: Artistic Responses to Images of the Past expandded on the group exhibition at Galleri Image with the same title and examined the highly topical relationship between body and image in our time. Our bodies are changed and perceived in a close exchange with the images of them and photography, as technology, undergoes extensive changes.
The symposium took place at Kunsthal Aarhus on Thursday June 16, 2pm - 5pm.

The group exhibtion New Tactics for Unseen Bodies showed four artists’ work with our visual heritage through photography, video and collage. Curated by Kirstine Autzen.

Galleri Image hosted the book launch of "Keepers of the Ocean", a new photobook by Inuuteq Storch published by Disko Bay on Friday 3 June 2022.

In Sofia Albina Novikoff Unger's exhibition Special Affects, Galleri Image was transformed into a speculative universe, in which today's technology was intertwined with mermaid myth.

In connection with the exhibition Special Affects by Sofia Albina Novikoff Unger, Galleri Image invited to a performance with artist and musician NURSE  on 30 April at 2 pm.

After closing time Galleri image sat the stage for the new play Ren Hang in Peace (R.H.I.P) about the renowned Chinese photographer Ren Hang, made possible by Nydanskeren Jimbuts Kulturforening. The play could be experienced in Galleri Images from 22 -28 April.

Dr Marine Cabos-Brullé presented the lecture Photography in China and its Histories in connection with the play Ren Hang in Peace (R.H.I.P.) at Galleri Image. The lecture was as a cooperation between Galleri Image, China Studies, Aarhus University, Photography of China og Nydanskeren Jimbuts Kulturforening.

In the exhibition Dissolved Darkness, Veronika Geiger explored the human connection to the Earth through photography and video.

Kunsthal Galleri Image and Kunsthal Aarhus presented Between Earth and Art: A conversation between an art historian, a geologist, and an artist about how we relate to nature.
