Translator Sidse Laugesen has translated several Chinese novels into Danish. For this event, she talked about how Chinese literature navigates the intersection of society and individual - a theme which relates to the works No Name exhibition.

In connection with the exhibition No Name by Chinese artist Wang Ningde, Galleri Image has published an art publication by the same name. The publication contains a wide selection of photographic artworks from the series No Name, and two essays written by curator Lisa A. Orcutt and author Gitte Broeng about the artworks. Foreword is written by Beate Cegielska. Danish artist Lasse Krog Møller is the book's graphic designer.

In connection with Photobook Week Aarhus 2020, Galleri Image presented the exhibition Intimacy and Resistance: An intergenerational dialogue on photobooks from South Africa with additions from Sub-Saharan Africa. The exhibition was curated by John Fleetwood and includes works by Ernest Cole, David Goldblatt, Drum, Lebohang Kganye, Zanele Muholi, Jansen van Staden, and Eric Gyamfi.

In its seventh edition, Photobook Week Aarhus 2020 was framed by the theme Seriality – Multiplicity – Repetition

Photobook Week Aarhus 2020 included a wide range of exciting exhibitions, talks, book markets, tours, and book presentations on locations throughout the city centre of Aarhus.

The exhibition In Our Nature by the Russian artist Mariya Kozhanova showed brand new artworks consisting of photographs and brass sculptures, natural objects and gold as an iconic colour and material.

On 6 March between 4pm and 6pm, Galleri Image invited you to the opening of the solo exhibition Stages of Conception by Myne Søe-Pedersen.
The exhibition was closed 10 weeks for audience due to covid-19. The exhibition reopened 26 May and the exhibition period is extended to 25 June 2020.

On 7.3.2020 at 2 pm Myne Søe-Pedersen gave an artist talk about her solo exhibition Stages of Conception and her artistic practises previous to the exhibition.

On 11.1.2020 at 2 pm Sasha Huber gave an artist talk within her solo exhibition AGASSIZ (ALL) OVER. During the talk Artistic Renegotiations of Archive, Memory & Place Huber elaborated on her long-term project, initiated as part of the Swiss-founded activist campaign DEMOUNTING LOUIS AGASSIZ (which she has been a committee member of since 2007).
