The Norwegian artist Nils Elvebakk Skalegaard works with different confrontations between nature and culture, noise and silence, private and public, the conscious and unconscious, wiring and family photos, fog photos and cotton etc..

This darkness machine, remained for two years in a field. When such a darkness machine is spread out on a field, it slowly kills all life beneath it. And when it is removed again, an imprint of naked soil is left behind.
