Galleri Image, Fotografisk Center, and Brandts collaborate on Photo Biennale

A new Danish biennial, Photo Biennale, dedicated to photography has become a reality in a collaboration between Fotografisk Center in Copenhagen, Brandts in Odense, and Galleri Image. The official opening will take place at Brandts on Wednesday August 24th.

There will be a symposium as part of the biennial under the theme GLOBAL CHALLENGES IN CONTEXT TO PHOTOGRAPHY, CONTEMPORARY ART AND SOCIAL MEDIA. The symposium Global Challenges takes place on August 26th in Copenhagen at CPH-Conference in DGIByen. At the symposium Art historians, artists and photo theoreticians share their insights into current positions within contemporary photography.

Artists: Anu Ramdas and Christian Danielewitz. The exhibition is curated by Peter Ole Pedersen
