Book launch: Against the Grain

On the penultimate day of our exhibition Against the Grain we are hosting the launch of the book by the same title. This publication combines the artists' own reflections on the works created for this exhibition with a broader refelection on their relationship with documentarism, contemporary art and the anthropocene.  The publication also contains an essay by Lars Kiel Bertelsen in which he adresses important questions about the visual ecology we all participate in.
The book is illustrated with works by Anu Ramdas and Christian Danielewitz and published in English by publishing company Antipyrine in collaboration with Mathias Kokholm. It is of course possible to acquire the book at a favorable price at the launch at Galleri Image.
