Teresa Meka visited Aarhus on residency in June 2016, at the same time as another young female participant in the FRESH EYES project, Anushree Fadnavis (IND). The pair explored the city separately and together, searching for inspiration and Fresh perspectives on the city, to create their contribution to FRESH EYES. Meka works with both art and documentary photography. Her photographs are often humoristic, detail orientated and very personal. Her work is a process of questioning and selfdiscovery, as she seeks to document her relationship with the society and how that evolves with time. Her choice of subject comes from her life experience, observing and questioning the various interactions that transpire in her space.
